Product KPIs
- Discussed metrics as shown in the slides.
- In preparation for the next monthly catch-up, Speckle will introduce a more detailed metrics system showing all stages of the funnel, conversion rates, and usage patterns for paid vs. non-paid
Pricing & Packaging
- Speckle explaining the thought process and genesis story of the current pricing plan. Main considerations of the current pricing plan:
- To focus on simplicity, Speckle chooses Seat-based pricing over usage-based pricing
- To navigate the transition from entirely open source to (open source + closed source), Speckle will keep a generous Free Plan and focus initial monetization on security features needed by businesses
- To not fall victim to Flux’ mistakes in the past, Speckle will start with a moderate price
- Addition pointing out to focus on simplicity (ie. fewer plans) of pricing model and not to give away too much for too little (sharing examples of industry peers)
- Addition raising the question as to whether Speckle leverages AI trend. Speckle Team has discussed AI use-cases with various users and enterprises. In short: currently, it’s more of a branding exercise than actual product. However, Speckle sees use-cases in which AI is applied/ built on top of Speckle infrastructure and focusses on cherry-picking for now.
Company planning
Discussing three angles:
- Product roadmap
- How is Speckle planning to package products/ features (eg. “Design Review Package”)
- How are we thinking of expanding Speckle’s scope from AE to C.
- What does financial success look like in 12 months
- Discussed numbers: Ambitious aim is to reach 2M ARR in 2025
- Discussed numbers: Ambitious aim is to reach 6-8M ARR in 2026
Financials and HR
- Discussed metrics as shown in the slides
- Addition considers hiring a VP Eng & VP Marketing (at minimum) in the next 3-6 months as a top priority and agrees to increase burn accordingly
- Further, Addition encourages to initiate “hiring hubs” to reduce operational complexity and allow for more in-person events.
Admin topics

- Policies (eg. Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and others)
- Cyber Security and Speckle’s approach to mitigation (eg. SOC2, Cyber Insurance,…)
